I lurve angels and had no idea about this book until I came across it in a giveaway. While I'm hoping to win the ARC, I am more than happy to pay for it when it's released. I absolutely adore the cover. The ambience, the colour tone and the lurve between the two characters on the cover. I think this is one to watch, sooo on my wishlist and really want to get it.

I've got two books this week. One that I have a feeling will be VERY popular and the other for the young ones in your family.
Sorry I've not been posting much lately; I'm not very well...again!

Nightshade by Andrea Cremer has caught my eye. The cover does two things: 1) it hones an unsuspecting reader in and 2) the title carries it's own level of intrigue. I am both a totally honed in unsuspecting reader with a high level of intrigue.

Waiting on Wednesday: Wimpy Vampires and Werewolf fighting Sisters!

This Wednesday I have found 2 books. One I found on another blog *can't remember which SORRY! If/when I do I'll give kudos properly* and the other's title as oppose to my usual cover addiction caught my eye. These books being Sister's Red by Jackson Pearce *I lurves her name!* and The Diary of a Wimpy Vampire: The Undead Have Feelings Too by Tim Collins, respectively.


Sister's Red not only sounds riveting it has one of the best covers I have seen this year.so far. It's like those visual puzzles where there's more than one picture in a picture...I HEART it!

The Diary of a Wimpy Vampire...like I said the tittle caught my eye and made me chuckle. I lurve The Diary of a Wimpy Kid and it instantly reminded me of it though it's from two different authors and about to completely different things.I don't even like Twilight *Yeah I know everyone in the world does...but I do have a thing for vampires* I hopes its as funny as it suggests. What's even better...it comes out tomorrow :D

This Wednesday I have found a book that drew me in yet again because of it's cover and it's title- The Forbidden Sea by Sheila A. Nielson. Out July 1st 2010.  At some point I hope to choose a book where I'm not enticed by the cover :D

The cover caught my eye much like most random books I choose...I can't help it...I like the aesthetically pleasing :D

I am intrigued by the story line...it has elements of fantasy and historical fiction while being a YA book...it's a dream book...I hope it reads like a dream too!

Other by Karen Kincy. This book just screams 'READ ME!' It's a supernatural YA book, jam packed with elements of action, romance and drama.

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly theme hosted by Breaking the Spine, that's all about upcoming releases that tickle our fancies.


This week I'm waiting on Spells by Aprilynne Pike. I am very excited about it. The first book Wings is an absolute charmer er go 'a must read'....aallegedly, you see; I must admit I have yet to read Wings. Since Melissa's review I had a chat about it with a g.f of mine who's read it and is hell bent on me reading it and I surely will be!. So out of respect and much love in her regards Spells is a guarantee must read, since she is CERTAIN I'd lurve Wings. I have a 'thing' for faeries you see.

It's a bit late but not too late, still Wednesday here...been a busy day. 
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine and focuses on a book we're pining to get our hands on but have yet to be released. So my WoW post is Just Look at Me Now by Nell Dixon. It caught my eye in a random browse around.

It sounds fab, funny, girly and full of drama! I love the ugly duckling turned swan. I believe most humans go through such a period. I am keen to know how it all turns out. I know what it's like to change self esteem wise and not being afraid to be happy, so I feel like I can relate. I'm a chick lit fan but I'm not a girly girl and though this reeks of girlocity there's something about it.  I've read the unedited first chapter of the book which you can find on her website...I also love the  cover.

Waiting on Wednesday : My Single Friend

Yep it's the middle of the week again...time is seriously speedy these days!
This is the weekly meme dedicated to the upcoming book releases that 'float your boat' and is hosted by Breaking The Spine.
Why would anyone be waiting on  the release of a new book? If you don't know the answer you are no book lover, mate...tsk tsk!

This week I'm waiting on My Single Friend by Jane Costello.

I've been eyeing this book up for a while; never bothering to read the synopsis or check it out further....until today, well yesterday. I've been intrigued by it since I'm the perpetual single friend. So today I checked it out and am SOOO GETTING INTO THAT!

What intrigues me is the single 'best' friend is a guy. I thought it would have been a girl. I like that! What I'd have some qualms about is the whole changing Henry's looks and Lucy seeing him differently.I DO NOT BELIEVE LOOKS ARE EVERYTHING! However I am interested to read it to see how it all pans out as well as the way it's written.
So that's it...Im still a bit ill so haven't been lit hunting much lately. I am very keen on seeing everyone else's WoW delights :)

Waiting on Wednesday : The Six Rules of Maybe

This is the weekly meme dedicated to the upcoming releases that 'tickle our fancies' and is hosted by Breaking The Spine.
Tickling my fancy this week is The Six Rules of Maybe by Deb Caletti.

It's a YA book that I stumbled upon while cruising through Amazon for books to add to my collection.


From Barnes & Noble (Their synopsis was the best IMO):

I love the title and the serenity of the cover. I am definitely excited about the book because I know what it 's like having to introspect not to mention facing reality.
