My Wish List #2

This is a weekly post on the books I'm craving but haven't gotten around to getting them yet. It's hosted by Book Chick City.

Waking Up In The Land of Glitter (Crafty Chica Novels) by Kathy Cano-Murillo. It sounds hilarious and the trailers which you can get into below are super cute and funny.

Waking Up in the Land of Glitter: A Crafty Chica Novel
From Goodreads: Struggling domestic-goddess-in-training Ofy is determined to turn heads at this year's International CraftOlympics. To do that, she'll need the help of her best friend, Star. Considering herself a serious artist, Star is hesitant, but finally agrees to help as a way to end her own creative slump. Truthfully she thinks Ofy is a little loca about the whole craft thing - and about her idol: Local TV personality, Crafty Chloe. Star doesn't trust the bottle-blonde, even after she becomes part of their crafting team. As the competition heats up, Star will learn Chloe's dirty little secret, why crafting means so much to Ofy, and that beauty, art, and creativity can take many more forms than a canvas hanging in a gallery.

I love the cover and the title. It sounds just a fun getaway from it all read! I want it!

From Goodreads: Get your teeth into this devilishy racy romantic adventure that's full of surprises! All work and no play makes Nina a dull girl...But when you're PA to a celebrity chef who's even tastier than one of his delicious dishes you can't help loving your job. And what's wrong with fancying the pants off your boss? Erm, everything if he's married to someone else. So when Nina meets sexy Spaniard Juan, she's thrilled to escape to a new life abroad...until Juan does a runner with her hard-earned cash. Nina has no choice but to head home and brave 'The Temple of Gloom' -- a gothic flat with some unusual inhabitants. Nina's had enough of bloodsuckers. But is her mysterious neighbour Viktor really a vampire?

I really want this book. I got into this book via a friend and other book blogs and it's sequel is an official WoW book here, which means it's On My Wishlist too. So it's only natural I read the first one...right?!

WingsFrom Goodreads: Laurel was mesmerized, staring at the pale things with wide eyes. They were terrifyingly beautiful—too beautiful for words.Laurel turned to the mirror again, her eyes on the hovering petals that floated beside her head. They looked almost like wings.
In this extraordinary tale of magic and intrigue, romance and danger, everything you thought you knew about faeries will be changed forever.

That's it for my wishing this week...what are you wishing for?
