I'm a Scaredy Cat!

Literally had some intense introspection while making this post.

Well I haven't written about my booky wook in a while...have I? Truth be told I haven't written anything in a month...mostly because of my never ending job hunt, creating this template as I'm a novice to blogger not to mention CSS/HTML and writer's block. I know what I want to write/say but can't seem to. So I've decided to use some writer's prompts and get more active in the One Minute Writer's blog. I'm also hoping Melissa's plan comes together...I think that would help my writer's juce flow and keep me sharp.

It's not really writer's block I have it in my head I just can't seem to get with it. I guess it's a serious lack of motivation. It's me just sitting there with all the goo stuff and not letting it come out. So technically it's no block at all. I guess I am just being a bit lazy. Makes me wonder exactly how much; whatever it is I'm having do published authors suffer. I mean they must do right? Unless they're all awesom at writing ad not afraid of creating a book.

*Epiphany* yep just then right when I typed that full stop! My intention was to rap this up when I realised I'm a little afraid so I'm not letting myself write. I'm too afraid that it will fail. That my book would be rubbish and never get published...dream OVER...DONE...SEE YA NEVER...BUH-BYE!
I'm also afraid that it would turn out to be a fantastic book that everyone loves. So I guess I'm not lazy or lacking motivation or having writer's block. I'm afraid so I'm allowing myself to procrastinate. WOW!!!

Do any of you have any tips for what I've got? Whatever it is, I want to be rid of it and get on with my book...STAT! I say book...manuscript really :)

You know. Whenever I hear epiphany it reminds me of The Simpson Movie. I know, I know!
Guess what? Your not the only one being a bit of a scaredy cat!! I think it is a mix of worrying I was going to fail, that my writing would suck, and the fact that I was being lazy that always stopped me from writing. When NaNoWriMo came round I was determined to write 50,000 words in 1mth. I did. But I am back to square one of not writing much. Only this time I've got a book still waiting to be revised. Enter.. Once Upon A Time. Still bits and pieces to sort out but we will be writing soon, I promise!! I'd love to get my work in there for the people to vote too, see if I make it into the book LOL. Scary stuff!! But you GOTTA take that step! And thats the key. You have to make the time to do the writing, no excuses. LOL now that I said that, I need to take my own advice hehe. Good luck on the writing

BTW sorry for the long post got carried away.
