Another weekly instalment of new books that grace or shelves. As usual it's hosted by The Story Siren. I think I've had a pretty good lit week.

Another addition to my historical fiction love is The Mistress of the Art of Death by Ariana Franklin. The cover is what grabbed my attention and then the title, I simply had to get it...so I bought it :)
I also borrowed 3 books from my libe.




This Is How It Happened (not a love story) by Jo Barrett, which I'm excited about...reading it next!

The Pissed Off Parents Club by Mink Elliott. I lurve the name Mink! I've been seeing this book around for sometime now and read about it on some other blogs. I wasn't sure if it was for me...I am no parent but this books looks like it will be some serious comedic fun...me likey!

Lastly is The Last Concubine by Lesley Downer. Is that another historical fiction book Sa Toya?! I hear you cry. Oh Yeah, Baby! I have a thing for Japanese culture, Geisha, courtesans...what can I say.

Well considering it's 11:57 p.m. I'm off to bed and check out what's in your mailbox tomorrow. x
