Mail on Sunday #7

AKA In My Mailbox is a meme inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie and hosted by the lovely Kristi over at The Story Siren. It's a look at all the books we've acquired during the week.

This week it's a two parter...I've got some books and so did my 8 year old bro. We had a libe day yesterday...it was good. So this week I haven't bought any books like I did last but I finally got one that I've been seriously wanting to get into!

My Books:
Kill Your Friends by John Niven. I've been wanting to get this book for some time now and came across it in the library and BINGO! It's about the music industry and murder...tagline via Goodreads: 'the only way he's going to salvage his sagging career is by taking the idea of "cutthroat” to murderous new levels'. Sounds good...right?!

Master of Misrule by Laura Powell...2nd in the Game of Triumph series.....if you've not read the first you should and then quickly follow up with this, I've been informed...its YA with a supernatural, fantastical twist. I am getting the first and plan to read them back to back...although I do have some books to read ahead of them!

MJ's (my lil bro) books:
The Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw by Jeff Kinney. I plan to review these books as well. It's part of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, which MJ says is really good. He reads them before he goes to bed. They make him laugh alot and loudly too.

He's also a big Terry Deary fan...we've bought many of his books mostly Horrible Histories. Yesterday he borrowed...from the Gory Stories Series, Blackout Blitz and of the Horrible Science Series, Frightening Light by Nick Arnold.

I also got the cutest bookmark...EVER! well not EVER but it's pretty cute :D
So this is what I/we got...what did you get...I'll check it out!
