My Wishlist #3

This is a a fun, weekly post on the books I'm desperately craving but haven't gotten around to getting them yet. It's hosted by the lurvely Book Chick City.

This week I'm not wishing for quantity BUT quality :D

Paranormalcy by Kiersten White. I found out about this book via Melissa over at Spellbound by Books WoW post. The cover got to me...I'm a sucker for cover love. I read the synopsis and I'm hooked. I want to read this book so bad it's not even funny. I'm trying to be patient till the release date. I live in UK and it won't be out here till next year....fudge monkeys! I think I'm going to just get the US version.
Release Date: Sept 2010
Publisher: HarperTeen
Young Adult
Hardback: 352 pages

I found out about this book via another book blogger...Book Crazy Jenn. I lurve the Light and Dark concept of the cover and the story. I'm currently encouraging my Mom to get it for me, I've already splurged a great deal on books lately and it's almost my half birthday so why not! Jenn's review was enough for me to feel reading this book is a need!

Release Date: Feb 2010
Publisher: Omnific Publishing
Paranormal
Paperback: 396 pages

The cover didn't grab me this time. Not that the cover's bad..it gorgeous. Let me explain. For some strange reason trawling through Goodreads, the pic for this book didn't load. I saw the title...Queen in Exile why not? I do like a bit of royalty action. So I clicked read the synopsis and thought..this is a book for me. Then finally saw the pic. I want this book!!!

Release Date: March 2010
Publisher: Brigham Distributing
Historical Fiction
Paperback: 373 pages

Laslty is Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. I'm not going to go into details, seems everyone in the world has read this one. I found out about it a couple of months ago from a friend. I've read many reviews about it and now I simply must get it! As a Lit bitch and cover whore...my grandmother would hate it if I said that...I lurve this cover. The dark background with the red and white leafy colours makes it easy on the eye and a stand out on the shelf.

That's it for my list...better check out what you're wishing for!
